Just got my as3 and my p4 2.2 ghz cpu in the mail. Still waiting on my alpha which i should get 1-2 weeks cause it's on backorder. The question i have is that i went on the as3 website to view the instructions for applying the as3, the p4 has a small core, the p4 doesn't look like that, it has a grey plate over the whole chip, so how would i apply the as3, should i cover the whole grey plate covering the p4?

Thanks in advance.

The grey plate is the heatspreader that Intel puts over all their chips. Put a thin layer of AS3 on the plate. Make sure it is thin because there is a breather hole in it that you don't want to clog. Cover the whole gray plate.
