Is a VCore @ over 2V to high??????

I just did the pin wire mod with my P4NW 2000. Now the cpu runs at 2600MHz @ 2.02V. Is this bad for my CPU? Or can I even go higher?? Up to 2.2V????? (Sorry for my bad english)

Thx kenny550

edit: Sorry wrong forum! Please move it to "Intel CPU"

Yes, that is bad. You'll toast your CPU eventually if you run that much voltage for long periods of time.

YES - stop that now!! Anything above 1.9 is really asking for a dead cpu regardless of your cooling method. I try to stay below 1.8.

When you talk about max safe volt setting, do you guys mean
in bios or winbond? As you know winbond reads .1v lower.

By the way, the MBM5 shows a votage between 1,77V and 1,86V. I choose the 1,85V setting in the Bios! That means there is a differenz of 0,9V! That issn't good because at 1,77V the voltage is to low, and my system crashes (not in Windows, but in 3dMark2001).
