strange

my cpu idle temp is the about the same as the temp when I load my com with music and websites.
it only shoots up when I play hours of hardcore games.

my room temp 28 tp 31+ 100%humidity most of the time

2 front fans 2 rear fans 2 side fans 1 stock GPU fan and one volcano 7+

idle temp 41-4 degrees
load(websites and music) 41 -44 degrees
load(games)

47 degrees (that was an xcetionally cool day when I had this temp)

usually 50 to 53 degrees

Can my 1.8a northy be overclocked to 2.3ghz without cooking it. I am afraid my hot lcimate doesn't allow it and I cannot afford water cooling.

You won't be able to clock it that high without getting some really hot temps. Your best bet is to get a better HSF.

you might try a new heatsink and fan combo.

the forums have had a few people with mount problems for the sink you have so maybe the contact isnt all the great.

people seem to like the ax478 (thermalright? I believe)
