Recently I upgraded my HD and installed win XP on it. I had occasional freeze in windows (around 2 - 5x a day). I had to switch of the power (from the back of power supply) and turn it on again to make it post.
Turning off/on the power button or pressing reset button won't make it post. Harddisk and fan spinned but no beep.
I'm using ABIT KT7, athlon 900Mhz, 128*2 PC133 RAM, 40GB Maxtor ata133 7200rpm, Ati rage Pro128 32MB, unknown PSU.
I'm afraid this is power supply issues, but I had no problem with the old HD. Unfortunately I couldn't try it with my old HD since I gave it to my friend already.
