Via Aqua or Rio Pump?

Does anybody have any input on the Via Aqua or Rio Brand Pumps

Like noise level, reliablity, etc.

One website claimed the Rio pumps are less than 5 dBs?

I'm about to change my pump.

Yes I've got an ehiem 1250, many via's and a few rio's. The rios run hotter than anything I've tested. The ehiems are ok but the best overall is the via's.

I recently changed to a rio 1400 pump and it works better than my ehiem....

i'm running a rio2100 pumps a heck of a lot of water if u ask me. and i only got it for 5 aus dollars. works weel but creats a bit too much heat for my likeing.
