rad b4 or after?

do you guys put the rad before or after the cpu right before it empties out into the res? i have a res and want to find ou the best place for it.
 
I would go, res pump rad cpu res
this way the coldest water (just out of the radiator) is going to the CPU, it really doesnt make that much of a difference though the water becomes a constant temperature easily
 
i had it like that for some months now and after a long uptime it gets kinda high. i just changed it to: res-pump-cpu-rad-res, and my temps droped 3-4 degrees.

That's cause the flow rate is FASTER through the WB this way.
 
The flowrate is constant throughout the loop, so the order of components isn't going to affect that.
