lol why would you? does it do anything special?

I tried to fit a tank in my hideout in Liberty City... wouldn't fit. Furthest i've gone on land with a boat was a few feet... going full throttle from water onto land... didnt bother pushing it to my hideout tho.

heh

nothing special.
i'd like to experiment with the boat that you get in that one papparazi purge or whatever it is.
it's an odd boat, it has no name.. so it might do something interseting.

Haven't made it that far. I just finished the "Two Faced Tanner" mission (quite some time ago). I play a mission or two, then i'll just ride around causing havoc for a few days, then try a few more missions

Right now, i'm trying to see how good of a wreck I can get. I got $20,000 off one unique stunt bonus... my car blew up with me still inside it though (skidded a loooong way on it's top )

I'm still attempting to flip one of those Cheetah's in the Diablo race... but i'm sucking at it so far

Believe me, all missions are easy compared to the last one.

It took many tries for me to beat the final one.

I usually just spend time fooling around and ignore the missions.

Everytime I try to be serious and follow the missions, I always run over a cop and get busted. Very poor driving skills I guess. LOL

Yeah, I'll say! I've moved on to the Yardie's missions from the phonebooth in Staunton Island rather than do that.

if you want an easy like 1000000$ in GTA3 gochange the valueof a car in the handling.cfg fiile to like 500000000$ and then when you crash it since you get like 0.1% of its value you will get really rich

I thought the Java stands were easy.... I finished it with a minute left..

and the last mission took about 5 tries..

wasn't tough. u just hafta use skill and not run in bull headed...

hitman and cs skills

here's how:

with the java stands.. the timer doesn't start only u knock out the first one, so with a little patience, u just explore and reaveal the 9 stands on the map... and then start in one corner... shoot your rockets and jump in the car before it hits... (assuming u can aim)

and then drive to the next dot... oh and make sure u have a quick car... but don't drive kamikaze, cuz if u flip it in a ghetto neirborhood u're stuck with a fish van...

and the last mission is easy too:

after getting your a$$ shot up, zig zig to the cartel cruiser and get the hell out... drive over to the dam, on the way there by the 3rd light house is a health power up...

drive by the barricade... make some room, and accelerate and hit right between the 2 cruisers and smash your way through...

at the bottom of the hill there's a sniper rifle with 5 shots... make them count... hit the 5 closest guys... and then sprint over and grab their m16's....

using it's limited zoom capabilities and a steady hand, pick off as many as u can....

the AI is pretty dumb... cartel wont notice u picking off their members... if u can't shoot the members shoot the barrels near them... kill as many as u can...

strafe and look around, don't run in like a fool...

once u advance enough the alarm goes off, but most of the guys are dead...

try to stand in the middle, cuz all the barrels blow...

assumin u survive, pick up the other health that'll be behind u on the water side..

then slowly advance pick the rest of the guys off, and then use the rocket launcher to pick off the chopper....

2-3 rockets and a burts from my m16 brought that bad boy down....

I was surprised that it was the ending... it almost too easy

Yes, if you have WinXP and a NVIDIA card, you need to update d3d8.dll.

The update for it is here: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...P1_x86_ENU.exe

Now that you've mentioned it, everyone went off topic pretty fast -- including me. But I'll push a boat into my hideout just to see what will happen.

The last mission was kind of hard. The part where you have to kill all the guys at the very beginning after the exchange was easy, but i kept dieing at the dam. So here's what I did:

1. Save on Shoreside Vale

2. Leave your garage, and go right twice, so you are headed toward the zig-zag raod that goes to the columbian neighborhood.

3. Before the first corener, you can squeeze by the cliff, out onto an area with grass and trees, which is really a cliff above the lower hood gang area. There is a billboard and killfrenzy there.

4. I killed a whole lotta people until I finally got the army to come (I have over 40 packages, and therefor an abundance of grenades, which i just threw by the hundreds into the streets)

5. I took my M16, and as soon as one of the tank drivers got out of his tank, i shot him from up on the ledge. Careful, those military people have M16's too, and the can take you from 100/125 to dead within a second.

6. When they were dead, i took the tank, went to the garage, saved, and let the army kill me. Now I had a tank. The above is somewhat difficult to do and took about 30 minutes worth of trying. The funny part is, I had not had the last mission in mind when I did this. But once I had the tank, it occurred to me how easy the last mission would be

7. I went to the dam and blew the $hit out of everyone, and lived happily ever after!
