I think this is quite a nice picture to put on your webpage to show how you should not cool your CPU.
The pump broke and that’s the result.
My Athlon 500@750 crashed and the power supply still running when I came in my room. It smelled like boiled plastic.
All the water in the tube must have been vaporized… all the water was out of the tube and nowhere to be found.
The first thing that happens I burned my fingers grabbing the CPU.
It took a half-hour for the CPU to cool down to a normal temprature
I switched on the PC again, and wonder of wonders, the CPU still works.
(ED note: I don’t know if I should report this to AMD or the Vatican. :))
Always make sure you use a GOOD pump!!!
