On Monday, Google started taking applications for free CR48 Chrome Netbooks. Mine arrived today and I’m very excited to get my hands on it. I’ve been using the Chrome browser as my main browser for a while now, so the transition shouldn’t be too difficult.

I was surprised and excited to see that Silverstone has a few fanless power supplies on the market. For HTPCs, silence is paramount and although the Nightjar ST40NF may not be the most powerful power supply at 400W, it should provide ample power for file serving, video watching, and TV recording.
