Chris sent this email and I thought I should share it:
I thought some of your readers might be interested in a little problem I’m having. I have an Abit SD7-533/1.6a Northwood @ 2.2.
I usually use Motherboard Monitor to check my temps, but don’t think it
supports the SiS645 chipset because it always displays my CPU temp @ 93C.
Anyway, when I run Hardware Doctor (which came on the motherboard CD) after running Motherboard Monitor, it also says my CPU is running @ 93C.
As you will see in the pic,

Hardware Doctor gives me -5 sec to Shout down Windows.
I tried Shouting down Windows (Down Windows, down you bitch you!)
but it doesn’t seem to work. If any of your readers have this problem, I
would suggest trying the option “No more monitor this item” which worked
fine for me.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers – Chris
