On day two of CES 2023, we started out at the Mushkin suite, where we saw several exciting items. From the custom-built PC in a hardened case (to show off the new Lumina/Lumina X RAM), to the first glimpse of their PCIe 5.0 NVMe drive, there was seemingly something cool to see on every table/tv stand in the room.
For our first stop at CES 2023, we swung by to see our friends at Nvidia. As we walked into the first of three rooms, we were greeted by a slew of AIB cards on the table and several laptops, some of which sported 4000 series graphics inside. We saw pixels and frame counters showing off the new RTX 4070 Ti and DLSS 3, a glimpse into the collaborative Omniverse, and learned a lot about Geforce Now and the improvements they made with the technology.
Today, we have the chance to take a detailed look at the brand new RTX 4070 Ti 12GB graphics card. Based on the AD104 chip, you still get everything the Ada Lovelace architecture brings except for the flagship-class price. Starting well under $1,000, the price point is much lower than the 4080 and 4090 while still offering incredible performance (beating out the 3090 Ti in most tests).
