EK Rolls Out a Momentum² Monoblock for ROG STRIX X670E-I ITX Motherboard

EKWB has launched the EK-Quantum Momentum² monoblock for ASUS’ ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming  ITX motherboard. The cooling plate is constructed of nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top is clear acrylic. Designed to cool both the CPU and motherboard’s Voltage Regulation Modules (VRMs), the new EK-Quantum Momentum² maximizes cooling while maintaining a clean look. The Digitally addressable RGB (D-RGB) lighting features 18 LEDs and is fully compatible with ASUS Aura Sync software. Pricing is listed at $209.99 and it’s available for pre-order now at the EKWB webshop.

G.SKILL Announces Zeta R5 Series Octo-Channel DDR5

G.Skill has just announced its new workhorse series, the Zeta R5 R-DIMM DDR5 RAM. Capable of quad and octo-channel bandwidth, these high-capacity, low-latency DIMMs are designed for powerhouse workstations and heavy computations. These kits will be available in frequencies of 5600, 6000, and 6400 MHz with capacities of up to 256GB (32GBx8). Naturally, G.Skill tested the full potential of these kits and was able to achieve 6800 MHz CL34 in an 8-channel build. Pricing has not been announced but availability is expected in March of 2023. Enermax Launches Revolution D.F. 2 Gold Certified Power Supply

Enermax has upgraded its Revolution D.F. series power supply for modern high-powered graphics cards. The new Revolution D.F.2 features upgraded circuitry that allows a peak power output of 200% for short durations. Currently, only the 850-Watt model is available, though 1050-Watt and 1200-Watt units will be offered shortly. Both Amazon and Newegg have it listed for $129.99. MSI RadiX AXE6600 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-band Gaming Router

Over the past couple of months, we’ve had the pleasure of running MSI’s newly released RadiX AXE6600 Wi-Fi 6E Tri-band gaming router during that time. Although Wi-Fi routers and MSI is not something we think of together, they are trying to make their way into the market with this router and a new Wi-Fi 7-capable RadiX BE22000 they showed off at CES 2023 that we expect to see later this year.

AMD Releases Adrenalin Software Edition 23.2.1 – 6000 Series Gets Some Love

AMD has released its Radeon Adrenalin Edition 23.2.1 WHQL. This is the first driver update from AMD that supports anything other than its 7000-series GPUs since last December. Adrenalin 23.2.1 WHQL provides numerous 4k resolution improvements for a slew of game titles, several Vulkan extensions, and improvements to AMD Software. This is a large update with a multitude of bug fixes incorporated. Below is AMD’s press release, along with a download link. However, there have been several reports of users experiencing issues with Fast Boot after installing, so be advised.

EK and PowerColor Unleash Liquid Devil AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU

EKWK and PowerColor have partnered up once again, bringing exceptional cooling to the Liquid Devil RX 7900 XTX GPU. The Liquid Devil series graphics cards use only the top-binned GPU processors and are paired with a 17-phase VRMs. The core clock can reach up to 2,680 MHz in “Unleash Boosted Mode” and features 24GB of GDDR6 memory. Additionally, the nickel-plated electrolytic copper block reduces the thickness from a large 3-slot card down to just a single slot. The top of the block is Acrylic and POM acetal affording a phenomenal aesthetic. Price and availability were not included in EKWB’s press release, but you can expect it to fetch quite a bit more over the card itself.

Nvidia Releases GeForce Game Ready 528.49 WHQL Driver

Nvidia has released the latest installment of its GeForce Game Ready driver, 528.49 WHQL. This patch provides day-zero optimizations for Hello Neighbor 2, PERISH, and Company of Heroes 3. Additionally, settings have been optimized for Dead Space, Dual Universe, Goat Simulator 3, Paragon: The Overprime, and STALCRAFT. Support for RTX 40 series notebooks and multiple G-SYNC monitors are also included. This update also fixed the infamous Discord issue causing GPUs to downclock. AMD Announces Ryzen 7000X3D Release Dates and Pricing

AMD has finally announced the release date and pricing for its highly anticipated 7000X3D processors. Gamers and enthusiasts alike will be able to purchase a Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D starting February 28th. Pricing is reasonable as well at $699 for the 7950X3D and $599 for the 7900X3D. AMD plans to follow up with the release of its 7800X3D on April 6th for a slightly more budget friendly $449.
