AMD X670E and X670 Motherboard Announcement Roundup

As AMD’s motherboard partners announce their new line-ups for the soon-to-be-released X670 and X670E chipsets, we have created a short “round-up” article to cover the top AIB manufacturer’s releases so far. Below are updates from ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI. This round-up will list each of the boards included but will not be a complete list of products as others will be announced at a later date. For up-to-date specifications, please click the links provided in each section.

ASRock

ASRock has announced five motherboards utilizing the X670E chipset. Starting with the X670E Taichi and X670E Taichi Carrara representing its top-tier flagship motherboards. Also included in the announcement are the X670E Steel Legend,  X670E Pro RS, and X670E PG Lighting.

ASUS

Two motherboards were announced by ASUS, the ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme and ROG Crosshair X670E Hero. While only the ROG Crosshair boards have been announced at this time, we do expect others to be announced as we get closer to the actual launch date.

Gigabyte

Gigabyte has announced four new motherboards, two X670E, and two X670 boards. The X670E Aorus Extreme is Gigabyte’s flagship followed closely by the X670E Aorus Master. For its X670 line-up Gigabyte will carry on the Aorus Pro AX and Aorus Elite AX series.

MSI

Finally, we round out with MSI’s announcement of the MSI MEG X670E Godlike and MEG X670E ACE motherboards. Also showcased is MSI’s PCIe Gen4 M.2 Expander-Z card.
