CES 2015: Steiger Dynamics Launches LEET and ERA Living Room PCs

Steiger Dynamics unveiled their new workstation (LEET) and HTPC (ERA) at CES 2015, both of which are designed for use in the comfort of your living room.

The LEET series workstation comes in two flavors – the Pro and Studio. The LEET workstations offer i5, i7, and Xeon processor compatibility with up to 18 cores. Other options include workstation-class AMD FirePro or NVIDIA Quadro GPUs, SSD Drives, and ECC memory. The LEET Pro and Studio are available with full GPU and CPU water cooling, which make overclocking and quiet operation a reality. With its compatibility for a large number of TVs on the market, small size, and quiet operation, the work-from-home professional can complete their work right from the comfort of their living room couch.

The LEET Pro and Studio are available for purchase at the Steiger Dynamics website and start at $1,999 and $2,999 respectively.

The ERA series HTPCs are designed to seamlessly integrate into your entertainment center and are about the same size as a stand alone Blu-ray player. Don’t let the small size fool you, the ERA HTPC packs a serious punch with its available latest generation CPUs, SSDs, and DDR3 memory. Additionally, up to 6 TB of storage provides plenty of room for movies, music, and recordings. Connected to a large-screen full HD or 4K TV, ERA delivers a full-fledged Microsoft Windows experience and replaces numerous living room devices like Blu-ray players, DVRs, and gaming consoles.

The ERA series HTPCs are also available at the Steiger Dynamics website where you have the choice of three models. The ERA Pure starts at $899 and caters to media center/audio/video users. The ERA Core is outfitted with components tailored towards the gamer, and the ERA Reference delivers the highest processing and GPU power.
