Swinging by the EK Suite at Mandalay Bay, we saw several awesome items on display, including a next-gen flat PC (for autonomous and unmanned aerial vehicles and automobiles, EK Fluid works for the Enterprise, and a few EK Fluid Gaming rigs (their pre-built, water-cooled gaming PCs. They also shared a table full of products. This includes a new AIO with flush mounting of fans, new white radiators, a couple of new GPU blocks, and plenums.
Joe started writing around 2010 for Overclockers.com covering the latest news and reviews that include video cards, motherboards, storage and processors. In 2018, he went ‘pro’ writing for Anandtech.com covering news and motherboards. Eventually, he landed at Tom’s Hardware where he wrote news, covered graphic card reviews, and currently writes motherboard reviews. If you can’t find him benchmarking and gathering data, Joe can be found working on his website (Overclockers.com), supporting his two kids in athletics, hanging out with his wife catching up on Game of Thrones, watching sports (Go Browns/Guardians/Cavs/Buckeyes!), or playing PUBG on PC.
The H100 is currently the top of the line offering from Corsair in their Hydro series which is a low cost liquid cooling (LCLC) product line. Water cooling is far superior to even the best air coolers on the market, but will the H100 be worthy of being put into the same category as custom loops?
Our next stop at CES 2023 was MSI’s huge ballroom. Here we saw almost everything they had to offer. From laptops to monitors to keyboards and graphics cards, they had something to show off in almost every category. While we won’t cover everything here, we will show some highlights of the PCIe 5.0 storage (Spatium M570/M570 Pro), GK71 keyboard with Blue switches, Titan, Raider, and Stealth laptops, and more.
EKWB has released a lot of great cooling solutions, be it, CPU blocks, GPU blocks, parts for a loop, or entire custom loop kits. We reviewed the full cover block EK made for the 295×2 previously and with good results in our loop. Today we are going to look at another high-performance full cover water block made especially for Gigabyte’s monster GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming card. The EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG reviewed here actively cools the RAM, GPU, and VRM’s with water flowing directly over top of them. If its anything like the results we saw before, things are are going to get a lot cooler around here!
