One of our next appointments brought us to the ibuypower/Hyte booth. Here, they displayed several fantastic items for 2023. This includes the new Y40 S-Tier Aesthetic case, the CNVS mouse pad/play mat, The Y60 in Snow White, the Hyte LCD kit, and the Hyte Distro Plate that both fits in the Y60’s corner glass and new Hyte push connects for solid tube water loops.
One of the first things we saw was the new Y40 chassis. If you liked the look of the fabulous Y60, you’d like the Y40. The main difference between the two is the Y40 is more of a traditional mid-tower-shaped case and does away with the three-panel look for a 2-piece panoramic glass. It fits large video cards up to a whopping four full slots (95mm) wide, which includes the new 4000 series and 7000 series graphics cards. You can read all about the details on the Y40 website.
We next saw the CNVS Gaming Play Mat, a huge 50-pixel, qRGB-enabled mouse pad. It features a perpetual RGB, no stitching edge, is easy to clean, and a flexible seven-layer fusion of materials with a smooth polyester top. It connects to your system through 2x USB Type-A or a single USB Type-C connector.
Next, and one of the more incredible things in the booth, is the $120 Y60 LCD DIY kit. The high-resolution (1920 x 515) screen fits into the Y60 corner panel to display video wallpapers, system monitoring, and more. Hyte includes the LCD screen, driver board, and cables to power it. However, you’ll have to provide your own mounting solution (though an STL file for a 3D-printed mount is available on the Hyte website).
Last but not least is the Y60 distro plate, and Hyte push connects for rigid tubing.
Check out the rest of our CES 2023 coverage!
