In the Asus ballroom at the Venetian, we saw a lot of new items, from laptops and routers to monitors and, of course, Nvidia’s new RTX 5000 series graphics cards.
Starting with the GPUs, Asus introduced the ROG Astral line of cards, which sits on top of the product stack (Astral, Strix, TUF, and Prime). They even have an RTX 5090 Astral LC with 3x120mm AIO to keep the 575W card running cool. We’ll get all the details about these cards in the coming weeks.
Next, we spotted the ROG Ryujin III AIO and another with a large curved screen above the block. We also spied the X870 and Z890 motherboard lineup, 27″ 4K OLED monitor. It features an auto-off sensor (Neo proximity sensor) that cuts off panel power (so the PC is not hibernating) when you walk away from your PC and is another feature that protects against burn-in. Following that are the Strix and Scar laptops, ROG NUC 2025, and a picture of Ai in the BIOS (can ask how to overclock your RAM, it shows you how… ask it to make the PC quieter, it shows you how to lower fan speeds, etc.).
