Cooler Master Announces the Case Mod World Series Winners

Cooler Master has just announced the winners of the Case Mod World Series 2020 annual case modding contest. If you haven’t been following along, this is one of the most creative events held every year. Designers, fabricators, and PC enthusiasts enter their custom rigs in hopes of winning in a variety of categories.  With $24,000 worth of cash and prizes, along with the notoriety that comes with winning, it’s understandable how much effort goes into these absolutely stunning builds. Cooler Master Announces the Winners of Case Mod World Series & An upcoming Mod Kickstarter Program

 Cooler Master announces today the winners of Case Mod World Series 2020, the 11th edition of the annual case modding contest where PC enthusiasts from around the world take on the challenge to create the most breathtaking gaming builds with a record breaking year of over 100 entries, the winners have been rigorously selected by a panel of judges winning on merits of creativity, design, innovation, and craftsmanship.  Check out the mod gallery here https://community.coolermaster.com/cmws/gallery/ 

 Aside from the $24,000 worth of cash and prizes, Cooler Master will be launching an initiative in the upcoming months for popular designs from CMWS20 to be made and sold exclusively on CMODX.com – a Cooler Master backed platform aimed at bringing creative projects to the wider market.  If any of the mod designs receive sufficient support and backing from the community, Cooler Master will create a limited edition to be sold in early 2022. When I started to work on this review, I had already had a great day, and the UPS man showing up with a mysterious box from Coolermaster made it even better. The box inside was mysterious, the attached NDA made it even moreso (NDA will have been lifted by time this review is out), and to top it all off, it was supposed to be flashy and sound good at the same time. Will Coolermaster have made the mistake of flash over substance? Will I ever figure out how to use the front 3.5mm outputs on my case again? Come inside and read to find out!

Case fans are supposed to cool your case. As use in this review, a case fan is a fixed-voltage fan. Today we might want to call them non-PWM fans. These fans are “set ‘em and forget ‘em” fans. Except that some of you insist on using fan controllers to vary the speeds of your fans. Imagine that! Well, in any case (in any case – get it?) we’re going to look at more than twenty case fans. I say “more than twenty’’ because I can’t count. We have more than 30 fans and settings that we will be looking at today. If you are interested in counting actual fans, be my guest.
