The following people have emailed us with Coppermine slotket availability – we can not vouch for this information so Caveat Emptor. It is my understanding that Coppermine slotkets are in short supply currently but expect in about two weeks that the supply will loosen up:
“Just wanted to let you know that after reading your article on slocket availability that NCI computers in Vancouver, BC, Canada is selling, all retail boxed, Iwill slocket II and Coppermine p3-500E together all for a mere 395.95 Canadian, which equates to 274.12 USD. I believe they ship anywhere in North America and once again I’d like to remind you that it is IN STOCK (nearly 1000 500E’s in their two warehouses). The can be found HERE.“
Saw your article. Now you’ve made me have to pimp GenXTech AGAIN (for the third time). These guys are excellent and were the first to have the Iwill Slotket IIs in quantity for a good price. I thought you bought some from there when I pointed them out to you [ed: No, but thanks for the recommendation.]? Anyway, show some love.”
PC Nut is expecting a bunch shortly.
From Tim Hall:
“Bought my IWIll Slocket2 for $29 2 weeks ago from DATEL in California
(619-571-3100). Source provided to me by IWILL. Shipping was $5 for UPS ground (It arrived in 4 days to MD). DATEL does not have online sales, and they have a policy of confirming your credit card order by FAX.”
“Just wanted to let you know that I got a couple of MSI 6905 MASTER coverters from Power Up on Pricewatch they were a little expensive like $30.00 but they do have them! Happy Clockin'”
“I’m an avid reader of O/C.com and own and operate my own little PC company out of Montreal, Canada, called ELEMENT CANADA. My favorite market is performance systems, usually guaranteed stable overclocked ones. Running an SL35D 450 on a BE6-II @ 612mhz. (CPU’ll do 630, but TNT2 won’t hear of it)
I’m just writing to let you know that I can get (it seems) Slotkets for CuMine’s now. I’ve not used any of these as of yet, but the manufacturer is “Jamico”, and I’ve used their Celeron slotkets in several of my systems. They’re not as good as ABIT ones, but I’ve not had any failure rate to speak of with them. Less stable on O/C systems to some extent. Subjectively, maybe 10-15% less stable on the Celeron ones.
Anyways, I CAN get them and could sell ’em at $21 US…minimum 10 pcs.
If anyone’s interested, you can pass them along my EMail firstname.lastname@example.org –
Keep up the great work!”
My store will have the slocket II by Iwill between the 23rd and the 28th. Expected price is $25. CCUSAonline.com
“Longtime no talk anyways, if ur short on slockets for cumine drop by www.atic.ca – they have MSI slockets for 30 Canadian dollars, that is what 20 bucks US?

Dave (a.k.a Storm):
“Regarding your request for sources of Coppermine slotkets, we here in the UK at www.overclockers.co.uk have the IWill Slotket 2’s available. We also have a range of overclocking gear for everyone in the UK, Europe and we now ship to the US and Canada. There’s hardly anywhere in the UK where you can obtain things like Globalwin coolers, modified/overclocked Athlons and so on but we intend to change that :)”
Vincent Poon” Email Vincent:
“I’ve got a bunch (around 30) of those MSI 6905 Master slotkets that I’m selling for $24 shipped. This is cheaper than the lowest price on Pricewatch, which was $29 shipped last time I checked. Let me know if you’re interested! I’ve already sold some of these over the Anandtech and AGN message boards, it seems people are indeed having a hard time finding these things.”
J. L. Berry:
“I called a few sites, not in stock (the Iwill). The best was Interpromicro, they said in stock on Monday. 1/17/00 I got my Iwill there a few weeks ago. Everyone else I called said 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps.”
IsquaredInc has some available as well.
