EKWK and PowerColor have partnered up once again, bringing exceptional cooling to the Liquid Devil RX 7900 XTX GPU. The Liquid Devil series graphics cards use only the top-binned GPU processors and are paired with a 17-phase VRMs. The core clock can reach up to 2,680 MHz in “Unleash Boosted Mode” and features 24GB of GDDR6 memory. Additionally, the nickel-plated electrolytic copper block reduces the thickness from a large 3-slot card down to just a single slot. The top of the block is Acrylic and POM acetal affording a phenomenal aesthetic. Price and availability were not included in EKWB’s press release, but you can expect it to fetch quite a bit more over the card itself.
EK and PowerColor Unleash Liquid Devil AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU
EK®, the premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, has once again partnered with PowerColor®, the exclusive supplier of graphics cards powered by AMD’s graphics processors, to bring you a factory water-cooled Radeon™ RX 7900XTX GPU. This card’s water block allows it to easily reach peak performance while having a single-slot design for the flexibility to fit inside any case and on vertical GPU mounts.

This prestigious Liquid Devil series GPU uses only pre-binned graphics card chips with the highest quality silicon to achieve the best graphics core frequencies. These chips are installed on a brand new 14-layer PCB, equipped with a 17-phase VRM power delivery system consisting of DrMOS and high polymer capacitors. The VRAM on this graphics card has its own 4 phases in the VRM for clean power delivery. New IMON technology monitors and reports each phase’s electric current and power consumption. By balancing the workload, the Liquid Devil ensures unparallel stability and thermal protection while pursuing its overclocking potential.

On the thermal front, to ensure these lightning-fast graphics processors hit their maximum clocks, a unique EK water block is pre-installed, prolonging the card’s lifespan with superior thermals that only liquid cooling can provide. This also ensures no precious gaming time is spent on the water block mounting, and there are no questions regarding the warranty.

An easily accessible switch allows users to quickly choose between two onboard BIOSes and opt for either the OC mode, which provides high performance with balanced power usage, or the Unleash mode, which is designed for breaking records.

The visual appearance of the graphics card undeniably backs up the Devil gaming pedigree.
The distinctive and unique water block cover is partly accented with an acrylic design, enhanced by the subtle back glow that adds a mystic ambiance to match any desired gaming mood. The lighting is fully addressable, allowing various effects through PowerColor’s DevilZone FAN RGB control utility.
It provides a fast and safe way to test for possible leaks in your liquid cooling loop. While traditional leak testing works, it requires hours before very small leaks can be detected, and then things can become messy. EK-Loop Leak Tester Flex does the job within minutes without risking any actual leakage.
Liquid cooling brings lower temperatures, ensuring the card’s native GPU Boost overclocks it to levels that are out of reach for traditional air cooling. All that with a prolonged lifespan and significantly less noise pollution when connected to the existing or new custom loop system.
Take full advantage of the RDNA architecture that is powering this AMD gaming GPU. Equipped with GDDR6 memory and featuring PCI Express 4.0 support, RDNA architecture is ready for the latest generation of games.
EK-Matrix7 standardizes the product’s dimensions, including port position and spacing, making liquid cooling loop assembly easier and more intuitive. All Vector² products feature full EK-Matrix7 compliance in every axis for easy integration and perfect alignment with other EK-Matrix7 products. This perfect alignment of ports in both horizontal and vertical positions means less time spent planning the loop and bending tubes, with the end result being an epic build.

Recently we had a chance to look at a couple of EK products. I reviewed their 295×2 waterblock, and just a few days ago Lvcoyote reviewed their Supremacy EVO CPU waterblock. Both of those products performed quite well during their reviews. Today, we have a complete custom kit from EK, which they call the EK-KIT X240. This kit comes with a 2×120 mm double thick radiator, their DDC 3.2 PWM Elite Edition pump, the Supremacy Clean CSQ waterblock, and all the parts needed to complete a full custom loop. Today, we will put it through its paces and see how it fares!
Well known for their top performing water cooling products, EKWB is normally the go-to company when you want the best water cooling components there are. While they quite often bring new video card and full-board motherboard water blocks to market, it’s not as frequent we see a new CPU water block released. If you’ve been waiting for a new CPU water block from EKWB, the wait is over. Their new Supremacy EVO water block hits our test bench today, and we’re excited to see what this new offering has in store for us. So, let’s not waste any more time and get right to it!
