Reminds me of my old chair, except I used bigger speakers, a bigger woofer, and a lot of duct tape. Nicely done.

Atleast it's funny in a useful sort of way.
I didn't want speakers on tripods, because those would get knocked over all of the time.
And no I do not have any plans for a massage attachment. I have mild circulation and no back problems. Message chairs tend to make me feel numb rather than relaxed.

let me just point out that this isn't me, but I've been a fan of his stuff for some time.

(the chair is the second item under the "Completed Projects" section)

A little cleaner, but rather more than three hours of work, as well.

Regardless, nicely done job, Cap'n Slug.

    UPDATE!!!

I was slightly frsutrated with how the exterior mounts for the satellite speakers was hittin the wall. This prevented me from swivelling my chair around all the way. I month ago I inserted the speakers into the headrest itself, but didn't do it very gracefully. This weekend I redid the mounting inside the headrest, and in order for the speakers to be unmuffled by the leather, I replaced the two panels that they're hiding behind with black cotton. The end result is more subdued, and no longer hits the wall.

Wow.... Make those wireless speakers, and copyright the chair. ...I'd probably buy it, considering I have no room to mount speakers behind me (big open space).

That is the best mod (as in most creative) I've seen in a long time.

You should make several and sell them and make lots of money and spend all the money you made on more awesome mods.

Lol. You rule Captain Slug! That is a cool idea.

Now I need a chair like that....

I didn't have any thread thick enough to sew the cotton sections to the leather and my mom doesn't have a sewing machine strong enough to puncture leather. I ended up using staples instead of actual stitches, and the end result was way better than what I was doing with thread.

I'll post a tutorial sometime this weekend. This was actually a fairly easy project.
