Hi everyone,

I took a part my old PC and am looking to sell the components. I am going to physically destroy the hard drive, but I was wondering if the RAM sticks, GPU, Motherboard, etc. retain personal information once removed from the PC. Clearly if I sell the components, I wouldn't want someone to be able to pull up that information. Am I safe to sell these components?

GPU
Memory Sticks
Motherboard
Intel Chip
Powersupply
Case
Case Fan
Wifi Card
DVD Drive

I know the case and fan, etc. My concern was the Ram Sticks, CPU and Motherboard.
they were in the list. ;)

Ram and cpu only store things when there in power to it. The motherboard holds bios settings..that's it.
