On my Rampage things are white for quite awhile, then yellow for awhile then red, my z77 things turn yellow right away, and then red, and then darker red lol. But I cant get anywhere in the yellow, so the redder the bedder :salute:

Edit:

x55.. nice.

My monitor is my 50 inch tv in the basement, and I am 99% positive my wife wouldn't appreciate half naked women on my screen.. My boys on the other hand, probably wouldn't mind as much her :D

A year or two into our relationship I forgot to scrub my browsing history once.. and she found pornhub.. man those tears. She still brings it up now and then and only about 8 years has passed since that dreadful day

:bang head

Anywhoo..

Ouch...I can only imagine. I have a feeling my wife wouldn't be so receptive to this kind of wallpaper, lol, so I'm with ya there! I was only joking...ish :escape:

No worries man, I thought it was funny too :D

1.52v for 4900.. seems a bit much. I was gonna send it, but I'm not ready to say good bye yet.

Hey I noticed you are running 4 core with HT enabled (4/8) on that 3770K. I think you should disable HT and drop down to 2 cores (2/2). SuperPi cant use more than 1 thread, and your CPU will thank you by gifting you with 100+MHz for free :D

My CPU is funny like that. I don't get that free 1-200mhz that everyone else seems to get when they disable htt. Neither my x5690 nor my 3770k respond to those tactics, they each need the same vcore they normally would with htt on.

Funny, because my x5670 can't get any extra mhz either when I disable HT. My 920 was able to get like 200mhz extra at same vcore, well ...not the xeon

Well, this does make sense if the CPU is limited by silicon. Many CPU's are limited by heat, so it can get you extra MHz free in those cases. That being said, usually dropping core count and disabling HT allows you to run more vcore while still maintaining desired temp limit such as 60c. I was running 1.50v on the 8700k in 3/3 mode, and it never broke 40c. If that was 6/12 mode it would have been on fire running a bench like R15. Because 32M is such a light load, I would still suggest you try 2/2 and blasting that vcore for funzies...as long as this is not your 'daily' email/gaming rig.

you can probably knock 5 minutes off that time if you use the bulldozer conditioner

I wanted to try a run with my 8320 but the BDC wouldn't run on Win10. Tried it 'as Admin' with Win7 compatibility mode too, with no luck.

Without it was 21 minutes & change at 4.5 Ghz.

Here's the error.

More like a 24/7 setting.
Memory@4800 CL18, results are about 4 sec better than at 3733 CL16 and this kit can't run any tighter. For some reason, this CPU doesn't like 3800/1900 1:1 setting anymore. It was working fine like that on Gigabyte mobo but can't on ASUS.
The CPU itself is crashing at 4.45GHz so only stock setting at 4.4GHz.
