Today I have something for all who are looking for high memory clocks and don't really need high capacity - Kingston HyperX Predator DDR3-2800 C12.

Some forum members who are reading my tests and other memory reviews won't be surprised that this memory is based on Hynix MFR IC, the same as most available 2666+ memory kits on the market.

Here is link to the full review but additional overclocking results you can find in this thread.

Memory has two XMP profiles. One is 2800 12-14-14 1.65V while the other is 2666 11-13-13 1.65V.

Below is screenshot from XMP #1
AIDA64 has some problems to read XMP profiles while motherboard had no issues to load correct settings.

All tests were performed on i5 4670K and ASRock Z87M OC Formula motherboard. CPU cooling - custom water, memory - stock air.

Since memory passed HyperPi 32M then I assume that memory is stable or nearly stable.
Below results are showing some settings that you can expect form HyperX 2800 CL12 memory kit.

2666 11-13-13-35 1N 1.65V - slightly tweaked XMP #2 profile
I wasn't able to make it pass HyperPi 32M at CL10

3000 12-15-15-35 1.65V
- maximum clock at 1.65V , I had to set ~1.68V at 1525MHz

3200 13-16-16-35 1.78V
- maximum clock that passed HyperPi 32M

... DDR3-3360 on air without much pushing and really no comments ? ;)
Also thanks PolRoger for browsing all my tests :)

Nice IMC, nice sticks. I have the 2666 version and never really bothered to go past 2800Mhz. :)
