Realplayer keeps freezing?

Every time I open a movie and decide to expand, fast foward or move it around on my desktop it freezes. I have tried reinstalling but it did not fix the problem, any ideas?

Why not use a different program? Just my suggestion, because RealPlayer kept on doing things all on it's own, taking up resources, bandwidth, and stuff like that.
