looks like a good budget build. hope your not replacing the one in your sig :)

it is going to be OCed?

Nah it's not replacing my rig. I am building this for a MOBILE lan box. Also as a 3rd guest box for when my bestfriend comes on vac from college.

Not really, plan to run at clock settings

Just buy a 1 HD4830... lol why you need crossfire?

And you'll have big trouble running at such a high res if we're talking games.

You need AT LEAST HD4870 to play decently.

MAX res on cards would be 1600x or 1400x

dont think this will be on a 23 inch or larger screen

Opps :)

Stuff already in the bin that I own/have

(2) 160 GIG SATA HDD's (most likely gonna put these in raid 0)
(1) OCZ 600 WATT PSU
LCD Monitor

My friend lives on the other side of Chicago so this box is gonna be used to lug over there in my car as a lan box. Also when my buddy comes from college we will have a box for him and my friend wont have to bring his 100lbs box from the other side of the city.

DUE to the reviews on newegg.com I think I might go to my local micro center to purchase them. I would much rather do this so that I don't have to ship them back if I get one dead. I know I can just return it to the store.

I plan on building this system Weds 12-23-09 and having it ready to game by Friday/Saturday
