Kingston has long been in the memory and flash storage business; and like most other organizations, has kept up with market demand and the wants/needs of enthusiasts. The release of Ivy Bridge CPUs brings an even more robust memory controller on the chips and subsequently, even faster potential memory speeds. To that end, Kingston has brought to market a set of 2666MHzrated chips within their Predator series of memory. It's time to test these speedsters and see how they do.

Thanks for the review Joe...

By chance did you do any testing/running of the kit at 2400/2600 with tighter timings? My 3570K's IMC runs better at 2600 vs 2666 and gives a code "23" at 2800. I'll still have to see how this particular sample does at 2666 with my 3770K.

I'm sure at 2400 10-12-12-31 would be doable at 1.65v, probably not much tighter though...

Yeah... I tried testing C9 @ 2400 earlier today but I couldn't get into Windows without a "bluescreen" at 1.65v.

Kingston has also programed this kit with an additional XMP setting (Profile 2) 2400 11-13-13-30 along with slightly tighter secondary timings as compared to the default XMP setting (Profile 1) 2666 11-13-13-32.

2400 10-11-11-25-1T looks like a possible option for a daily overclock.
