The Trident Z Royal is G.SKILL's attempt at a high-end, premium RGB memory that is guaranteed to add a luxury element to your next build. There are several different XMP's available and two different color options, but today we are looking a the DDR4 4000 CL17 kit in silver.

since when does OCing void the warranty? As long as sticker is there and HS hasnt obviously been removed, you have an intact warranty, from what I was told. but that was a few years ago...
 
That really depends on the CPU but 1.25-1.3 is a good place to start
 
As Johan45 said, it depends on a few factors like motherboard and CPU. For the 4200 12-12 testing I used 1.25 IO and 1.30 SA, which are low and safe values. For the XMP based testing I used auto settings settings for IO and SA, which if I recall correctly are quite low on the ASRock z390 ITX.
