1/4" thick good for window mod?

what thickness acrylic should i use for a window mod? only asking cause i got a 2 sq foot 1/4 inch thick piece for a project for school but won't be using it all. just wondering if it would be a good thickness thanx

1/4" is probably fine but make shure the side still fits on. Most people use 1/8-1/16".

1/4 inch is pretty thick and will add lots of extra weight. as bender said, be sure that it wont hit anything on the inside and will still slide on easy.

3/16" works great. Yoy can get it at home depot for $2 for a 11x18 sheet. Atleast thats what I think it was.

i would just use it, as long as it fits.
