1.6a at 2664mhz with stock intel fan

it made it through 3dmark2001se without throttling so thats cool.

the fan has been modified to run full speed.

all i need is some memory that will do 221mhz so i can run 3:4 again.

right now i'm running 1:1 cause my pc3000 can't get over 210mhz.

my 3dmark with 153mhz fsb and 3:4 memory is 13,175
my 3dmark with 166mhz fsb and 1:1 memory is 12,932

you can just imagine how much better i'd be doing with faster memory.

running at 1.68v and idle at 44 degrees 52 load.

i never could get prime95 to work on my computer... at any speed.

i'll try that cpu stability test 6 or whatever someone gave me.

sounds like you need to up the voltage....

1.68v and i can't go further without the wire trick which i will not do.

i don't need to up the voltage to run prime95. the program just doesn't work. keeps asking to log on to some server and never does anything. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. no go.

just run the turture test..do not log on to anything.

see how long it takes to fail....

if you can run it for at least 8hrs then I would say it is very stable.

btw, if it fails in the first hour then you will need to pull back that OC.

it won't run the torture test because everything is greyed out so i can't select it.

i uninstalled it some time ago. crappy little program.

I could send you the progie if you like.....then just try the options>torture test again.

mine is not grayed out.

I have to say, that this is one great test to see how stable your cpu is.

yet if you can run all your video games and other progies( seti, folding, so on ) then you should be ok.

now do the WIRE TRICK and you'll find you have even more headroom. if you don't wan't to, that's ok. you're doing very well.
