10 computers 1 power supply ???

Is it possible to build a power supply that can power more than 1 computer at the same time? I am talking about a DIY project (do-it-yourself).

You can splice wires, but I'd only run 2 computers off of one PS. Check the Folding forum for more info.

haha that would need to be one fat *** psu. Maybe a 3000watt one would work.

10 pc's on one psu...maybe with say those tiny via cyrix cpu's? that sure would be interesting but probably not very usefull. I guess it depends on what you are planning on doing with the pc's you hook up .

Thanks for the link. I have 2 Slot-A boards I was going to convert to Folding rigs and wanted to jsut use 1 PSU.

hmm, i would think 2 pc's would be near the max for two decently powerfull cpu's~ram etc. I am not really sure since i havnt tried a mod exactly like that. Its just splicing wires together and what not would be pretty hard to evenly splice~get voltage to evenly be distributed etc. I hope it works, just doubt it with more than 2 rigs or possibly 3 if not too power hungery.
