We'll dig into it a bit later but when I click on the link for our first 100 billion earner and it brings up a page for those who hit the 0 (zero) point milestone. Those two milestones are far apart. Like 100 billion points apart. We all know who it is but we'll reveal it when we get to that point. Let's get started.

We are #6 in the world. We are running down EVGA (2 years) and Curecoin (12.9 years). We're slipping there but it is getting to be winter and we are a much smaller team. Meaning that when the other teams get their winter folders back, they have deeper ranks of dormant folders becoming active. We, on the other hand, went the other way. We have fewer active folders but those who are active are REALLY active. WOOT!

World top 100/200:
@HayesK #14
@WhitehawkEQ #26
@Holdolin #35
@dfonda #53
@HayesK #62

Top 200: @P4EE, @folding monkeys, @Farwalker2u , @torin3 , @orion456 and @don256us .

We have 11 members in the world top 200. That's a good quarter third of our active membership. That ain't a bad stat.

The team's production isn't doing poorly but we seem to have reached our peak. The daily graph from Extreme Overclocking shows us nearly leveled off. To improve this, we have two options. 1) Produce more per user. (We are already doing this.) Or 2) Get more active folders. Now here's the bad news. We are down by 10 active folders. We have 37 active members which changes the percentage of folders in the top 200 from 1/4 to 1/3. The 37 of us actively folding had an outstanding 32.6 million ppd on average. This number shows that the small group that we are, is really giving it our all. Feel good about that.

Top folders for T32:
@Mindmatter, @tom_ozahoski , @Norcalsteve , @KenSavage, @DeputyKovacs , @aviationfrk, @Rpkole and @Grub are all earning 1.2 - 9.1 million ppd.

@Raymond_Abbott, @gulp35 , @don256us and @orion456 are all earning 13.1 - 14.7 million ppd.

@P4EE is earning 40.3 million ppd.

@Farwalker2u is earning 50.1 million ppd.

@WhitehawkEQ is earning 70 million ppd.

@mongogeek is earning 180.4 million ppd.

@folding monkeys are earning 190 million ppd.

@HayesK is earning 211.1 million ppd.

@Holdolin is earning 247 million ppd.

The above list shows how we are able to stay competitive. We have a number of folks who are really doing a lot of folding. The numbers show it. Great job!

Individual milestones:

It took a small bit of detective work (I found it on my first try) but our biggest milestone ever belongs to @HayesK . As of this writing, he has earned 100,313,074,972 points and this is under his current user name. He has more than one and all have earned big numbers. Of the 13 users ahead of him, 10 of them are on his conquest list. @HayesK does have a threat. With 3.3 years to go at the current rate, @Holdolin is presenting a challenge. However, @HayesK folds year 'round and will be tough to beat. All are encouraged to try. ;)

More conventionally, @mongogeek has proven that his "billion per week" strategy is working great. While I missed last week's update, we know that he had 8 billion and this week he has 9 billion. Next week he will have his FIRST 10 billion. Great job @mongogeek ! Great job.

@Mindmatter has earned 300 million points. That's a lot of points. Great job to you.

@ec052002 is still making really good progress. They have earned 9 million. They have been a great example of steady. Steady is a very good thing in our game. Steady earns lots of point and 9 million is a solid number. Thank you for your efforts with us.

So that's all you get after two weeks.

Until next week:
Build, Borg, Recruit.

Just about at 2bill!!!! Soo close… but my machines wanted to play slap slap games with 15k worth of WUs and drop my completion rate to 27% 😳😳😳

Looks like I fixed it now! FYI (and I should have known better) if you wanna play with Linux, take the time to set it up right using the older v7 client. Sure, you can do the standard web client and it appears to run OK. But something will break. Play it safe and set every detail up. Or, just use windows!

Congrats on the milestone stones yall! Keep em foldin! It’s HEATER SEASON!!! (Well… still ACs here in FL, but close enough 🤣🤣)

It's been hot up in the Northeast too I just turned the AC off yesterday. I'm pulling the PCS out of the basement and putting them in different rooms for space heaters. 😄

Congrats on reaching the 100B mark, and to all those that hit milestones!

Now that it's cooling off, I've fired up my HTPC again while waiting for either the upcoming sales to snag a 4070 Super (or maybe even ti super if it's a good enough sale kekeke). Currently have a 1080 in my main pc until either the 4070's hit a price point I like or the 50xx series prices are announced. The energy and heat the 1080 outputs isn't worth the added points imo, especially while trying to keep the office cool since the roommate is WFH.

I had hit the 200mil mark it seems earlier in the week, and was hoping to hit 300mil before the next report but then i got this beast and the time keeps fluctuating between 16 and 20 hours. -_-

Happy Folding! :beer:

I don't know what the Supers are going for but Amazon has a good deal on Gigabyte RTX 4070 Windforce OC

Hoping in the next few weeks we see in the under-$400 range. Not really a budget constraint, just in no rush to buy a gpu die that is out of production as of this week.
The die for 4090 and 4070 is the same, just that 4090 when made if there are defects they sell as 4080, 4070 and so on :) Watch this video

Why would that matter? :)

The 4090, 4080, and 4070, use different dies (AD102/103/104, respectively). That video is correct for the 3000 series parts you listed above... those use GA102 varients. If you look at TPU (where I got the links above) or Wiki for the 30 series, you'll see those are all listed as GA102.

You all misunderstood what I said. :beer:

NVIDIA announced that they are halting production on all Ada Lovelace GPUs, from the 4050 to the 4090. Meaning that the 50xx series is coming sooner than expected, and that we should see massive price drops to clear out old stock of the 40xx series cards.

I meant that if the 50xx series is going to be as big of a bump in data crunching as some seem to expect, why would I buy the outgoing 40xx series even given the discounts.
