I would say depends on the games you play! wait haven't I already answered you a couple of times already? I not sure but I get a feeling of deja vu! old games=yes

This is being thoroughly (and repetatively) explored in other threads right now; be sure to check them out as the positives and negatives are well represented.

no...not worth it. You can find em now on Pricewatch for $80's.

Very good card for UT, Counter Strike, Deus Ex, Civ II, NFS, Tribes 2.........I've yet to find one it doesn't preform well with.

I stuck mine up on Ebay and got $96.00 + S&H. And thats a used card. But yes you can get them cheaper if you look.

I sold mine and bought a Radeon 64 DDR. Which IMHO smokes the V5! So my advice would be to forget the V5 and throw out an extra $50 and go for the Radeon. Well worth the money let me tell you.

You must forgive me people. For I have lived a shelterd life surrounded by walls built by 3DFX. They have now come down and allowed me to see the light!

I have a geforce but i think voodoos are just fine considering that most games played nowadays are still like 3years old. The best thing about voodoo 5's is that fact that most people spend more money on sinks and fans for it than the actual card . Nothing cooler than a voodoo 5 with 2 copper heatsinks with delta 50mm fans on them along with copper sinks on the ram chips. Looks Sweet. Get it.
