Well, they got me to 1927 3dmarks with my VooDoo3/duron. I guess they really are better.

I went from 1880 to 1927....just great!

all that 47 points cost you is a near heart attack when you flash your bios

no matter how many flashes i do, i still get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach when i see the "Chip erasing" message....

Well thats good to know! I thought I was the only veteran computer user who felt that way. I always get a little queasy when I flash the bios, Even though I've done it so many times.

Yea me too!!! I just get worried, like it will just stop and say it can't write to the bios.

What are the chnages in the BIOS that allowed the higher marks?

i have no fear pdating my bios....
i have a back up bios rom
that old/dead motherboard may have a bios rom you can salvage
just have to "hot flash" your bios to get the oethr motherboards bios overwritten with yours.

if you need to know hoe to hot flash, just ask

It was mostly the ali integrated drivers i installed, but it has only one new feature.

There is this thing called System acceleration mode. I haven't played around with it yet though.
