just moded my case and stuck two 120mm fan, 1 front 1 rear bought rated at 2100rpm in this somewhat a good cooling when overclocking a prescott processor with a stock HSF???

When you try to overclock a CPU, the first thing you'll do is buy proper CPU cooling.
I don't even know enough about the locations of the fans, ratings (RPM doesn't say much, try CFM), so I'm afraid I can't even say if you're airflow is any good...

I'd advise you to use those 2 fans you already bought for keeping an airflow (remember, front to back, bottom to top) and save up for a REAL heatsink...
A prescott, as warm as it is anyways, is UNoverclockable with a stock heatsink/fan combo without easily hitting the 80°C

Prescotts are the warmest CPU's around ATM. Even if you have windspeeds of 500KM/H in your case, its the heatsink you'll need to invest in.

here are the specs of the fans i bought
Specs:
- Model FBA12G12M-1BX
- 12v (operates between 7v and 13.8v)
- .45 amp
- 86.5 cfm
- 35.5 dBa

as of now i got a stock HSF I realy haven't powered up my system for which i want to be ready everything before powering it up and overclocking it, I'm also using as power supply which has a 120mm fan on the bottom and a regular 80mm at the rear I'm aslo planing a put a blw hole at the top of my case will a 92mm fan will help???what do you think??

of course it will help, but as stated, a good hsf will really make the difference
and make sure you remember to use as5 or ceramique to mount it ;)

oh, and welcome to the forums!

Ok I'll save some money to get a good HSF I don't seem to get what you mean by "as5 or ceramique" can you please do help me on that?by the way do you think Thermalright XP-120 P4 Heatsink will be a great heat sink?
thanks for the welcome i really got some useful ideas out of you guys....

SP-94 is still KING...Do you know anyone who has a XP 120 yet...Until it hits the streets, so to speak and is tested in the real world, its just a fig newton of our imaginations..:) I don't plan to throw my SP-94 HS in the melter yet! At most they'll probably cool the same...They haven't sent one for a test yet..;)

I'm working on a whole new case as we speak preparing for this monster to show up and I'm modding the hell out of it. I sure as hell hope it is worth my time when I install the XP-120 or I will rip it out slap my SP-94 back in and use it as a paperweight.

Electron Chaser, If you don't like how the XP 120 performs, send it to me for further evaluation. ;) I'm not sure if I'll get one other wise..:D

I cannot fit a XP-120 in my case. $^&^##&* power supply is in the way

Oh well, this is what I get for getting over anxious for something new. Now I will have to wait for all of the SP-94's to go on the classified sections :)
