On a normal midiATX. How would putting a 120mm 70cfm fan in the side of the case directly over the CPU+thermalright sk6 work, if used with a duct that gets smaller near the heatsink?
Would this yield about similar results to putting a YStech60mm directly on the heatsink?
My thoughts, pros:
- uses lower temp ambient air to cool (compared to case air)
- low noise (tis a 30db fan)
- high total cfm
Cons:
- slower moving air might lower cooling ability
- cfm lowered due to ducting

Anyone ever tried this?
