128 or 64mb?

SO witch ti4200 should i get.Basically I want to know how much video card ram UT2k3 takes up, and how much doom3 will. Is t safe to go with the 64mb card and save about 40 bucks? Thnx.

I have not bought a new card in a couple of years
still got my leadtek GF2 ultra @ 300/500
BUT
i would have to say its like system memory get as much as you can afford
you cant have to much

yep. But couldnt i add system RAM to 512 mb or more and then raise the apperature (sp/) size?

well if you have the money than go for the 128.. its worth it in the long run....

Id tell you go 128 all the way. WIth the 256 cards out son, designers will promgram with at least 128 in mind, with 256 ideal. Im plannign on getting a 256 9500 when its out

I would think if you can afford it a 128MB card I can not, LOL nor am I that big a gamer, yet ) Doom III may change that, but I would think it will use a lot of memory, plus with Doom III, I think it might be prudent to get a card that is DirectX 9 compatible. Right?

im already gonna get an albatron ti4200p turbo 128mb. shibness
