Like all of the first generation socket A motherboards, the original AZ11 board had the KT133 chipset. Although the option for increased FSB speeds are shown in the BIOS, the chipset rarely supports much over the 107 / 110MHz range.
With the introduction of the 266FSB's CPU's, VIA reworked the chipset to officially support 133+MHz. I believe that the AZ11EA is a revised board that takes advantage of the updated chipset. I personally have no experience with the later AZ11EA's, I have an early AZ11, maybe somebody else could post their results.
