Hello, recently i bought some second hand G.skill Trident Z Royal, 4x16G, 3600, 16-16-16 for my son PC( 10900k, 3080ti, Rog Strix Z590,liquid cooler,1200w)
I removed older ram and by lack of knowledge i tried to start with all 4 bricks and was not possible to get into the bios. I tried with two in B2, A2 slots, same results. I manage to open the bios with one bro in slot B2. In bios i disabled camp and i noticed high voltage 1.5v. I reed and watch about and i decided to live XMP disabled, i changed the voltage and VCCIO 1.1, SA 1.2. Works with two bricks but not best. Still can’t open the bios wit 4 bricks. Please, i really need some help to get them better and I hope someone can lose some time to guide me step by step what to do because my knowledge it’s close to zero…
Thanks so much

What i mostly need it’s to start with some good values and then i can start slowly to learn how to work with to get better if possible. Now i really don’t have a start point and for that i need mostly help please

System agent voltage , bump it to 1.24 ...

Cpu voltage try it where it is 1.35 up to 1.375 and yes try to lower the CPU voltage and also try the CPU voltage on auto
Post magically merged:

Ser the primary memory timings n frequency manually. Memory voltage should be safe .05 volts higher than specs

Did you clear CMOS (BIOS reset) between old RAM & new RAM? You want to clear out all the old RAM values & let the motherboard detect the new RAM, then tweak from there.

Edit: I'll also add you might want to be on the latest motherboard BIOS version. Sometimes there are updates to improve RAM compatibility.

Thanks, i mentioned that I’m a beginner. Probably thanks one of the problems i did reset the bios and i don’t know if i have the last update on bios

I have checked and i have last bios version, it’s enough if i clear cmos now?

Yes, I'd try a clear cmos now, then a restart with the 4x16GB sticks installed.

Which Rog Strix Z590 are you running? I see a Z590-a, Z590-e (gaming WIFI), & Z590-i.

BTW, we are all beginners when we get a new platform. Nothing to worry about. :)

I’m not worried, I just want to justify eventually childish questions 😃. I have reset the cmos, i checked the last bios version. I follow the steps and when I’m back to bios I see a 2133MHz dram frequency which show me issues, it’s like a safety start mode. Why is that, what I ca do next?

I would personally try this order
a) clear CMOS
b) Plug 2 sticks, wait through a few loops until post.
c) Go into bios. Set VCCSA and VCCIO to 1.2V. Save changes, leave BIOS and turn off the computer.
d) Plug the two extra sticks.
e) Wait until it posts. If no post, clear cmos and try to post again with the 4 sticks
f) After getting post: Manually enable XMP. If no post after XMP, either manually play with timings or enable XMP and just set the RAM speed to 3200MHz.
