Secondly.

I am deciding on a motherboard to get to overclock this mofo.

Currently it will have an AlphaPAL 8045 w/ a sunon 50.2 cfm fan.

I have heard great things about kt333 boards such as the gigabyte 7VRXP.

Wasn't sure if i would see more possible power out of it with a KT400 board.

I was looking into Corsair XMS PC3000 512mb stick...

Let me know what you guys think of the processor, and what board some of you have with your 1600+'s to make this thing crank..

I think the Epox 8K5A2+ is the best motherboard out there, untill nforce2 hits the market.

i'm haven pretty good luck with my 1600+ and an asus a7v333 for specifics look in my sig
