He said he had it @ 11x200FSB. He had dual channel Corsair XMS which apparently limited his oc.
The Thermalright heat sink has a Vantec Tornado 80mm fan on it. still worth 100?

@$$HOLE

It was on ebay and someone bought it right after I posted a question about it. If that person found out about it from me, I hope you die:mad:  no one even replies, and I get screwed over

Calm down man. The chances of that happening a remote.

eBay is HUGE.

Let's go to newegg & see what's up.
mobo $101.99
cheapest Thermalright heatsink is $34.99, the SK-7 performs similar so let's say it's $25.
The CPU is $50
So that's $177 + the cost of fan.

The mobo is known to be the best overclocking mobo and Thermalrights are best heatsinks out there, there's your reason for items selling.

Your thread was viewed like 10 times, half of which were probably by you and me posting this.

Chances of what you're saying happing are one in a million if not more.

Sorry man, but I'd blame myself if I were you.

P.S. Now that I think about it, I would add at least a few zeros to that probability since you didn't even mention eBay in yout posts.

ya

You're right, but it's kind of a coincidence that it gets sold 5 minutes after I post a question about it:bang head

It was sold for $140, damn, I'm gonna see if a local computer store has one, I'm kinda sick of buying things over the internet anyway, you allways have to wait:D

It happens. Some people will watch an item and then bid on it at the last minute to prevent being outbid. If it went from $100.00 to $140.00 that fast, I would say several people were watching it. Out of curiosity, you said it was the wrong stepping, what stepping was it?

c627627 is right, and at $177 for new stuff vs. $140 for used, i dont see where theres any reason to be mad. no question that its worth $37 more for new stuff. new means easier RMA's if needed, it also means you have an invoice for Abits 3 year warranty. and best of all, the peace of mind knowing no one else has had their paws on it.

new?

Please show me where to buy a new 1700 t-bred b with dlt3c steppings and I'll be happy again. :p

If you can't show me where to buy one, can someone point me in the direction of a budget processor that gets better performance after being overclocked? I just want to be able to play some games that are coming out with all settings maxed (I allready know I'd need a better graphics card... I'm thinking sapphire 9600 pro?).

The auctioneer never told me the stepping info, but it was a t-bred b. I think the auction had 20+hours left on it and no one even bid on it when I looked at it, someone used buy it now directly after I thought, "Maybe I want this?". too late now, oh well:-/
