Im not too far behind emericana but im doing things alittle differently. Im trying to see how high i can go on my chip with the least amount of voltage. Right now im @ 1913 with a vcore of 1.66 and been crunching at 100% usage for 12 hours. My full load temps are about 37 deg C. I dont know what im going to do next but obviously it will involve 2 ghz. Any ideas?

Are you serious? 37* C on die (a7v333 is ondie) with a volcano 9 and at 1900mhz? Is that even possible?

So I have reached my comfortable stopping point with this chip and i thought i would share with all of you interested in running this chip with air cooling.

As my sig states i have a 1800+ tbred A running in a rev 1.01 Asus a7v333 (the 1/5 actually works). I decided to stop the overclocking of this chip at these numbers.
Cpu (166 * 12) = 2 Ghz
vcore 1.68
temps 32 deg Cel idel and 35 under full load
For cooling i use a volcano 9 and a thermaltake Xaser 5000 case

Overall i would call it a success. I mean +500 mhz on any proc these days is a decent overclock. What suprised me is how easily it got there and how stable my chip is running at such a low vcore. The truth is i think ive had only one hardlock and i think it was because of shady software.

PS with this proc @ 2 Ghz, and my corsair cas 2 ram and my 9700 pro i am comfortably in the low 15ks for 3dmark2001 se scores.

Good luck all

Optimus: Let me ask, what bios ver do you uing on that Asus? And what's you stepping code and week?
