Got an old PC and put two GT two tens in it. It worked fine and gave me a C1 code and then it gave me a 1D code and wouldn't wouldn't show any display

As requested previously, please post your system specs so we know what you're working with. :)

Does it work with one gpu?
Have you updated the bios on the machine?
What troubleshooting have you done?

I swapped out the cards and tried all the slots and it didn't work. I'm using an old EVGA and Nvidia mother board

Where would I find the model number
Post magically merged:

Just swapped a ram stick now. It's giving me a 2d code

Either the model number or part number will be printed on the motherboard. Here's an example of an EVGA model P67 SLI, part # 130-SB-E675. You can see the part number on the motherboard just below the big PCIe VGA slot in the pdf I've attached. Hopefully that can help you find the model or part # of your board too.
