Hi

can you tell me what holding you to reach fsb 290??
Is your CPU maxed out at fsb275 or your meanboard??

Whats your FPO/BATCH??

I got a 2.4C SL6WF Malay pack date 4/7/2003
FPO/BATCH L310A600

I have to wait for my mainboard, so I cant test it yet :(

3.3Ghz with 1.7+v??? is it on air or water??

honestly, i would be disappointed consider quite a few SL6RZ could reach that speed without that voltage on air!!

lol, I agree. I tried to buy one off you!

yep them new 2.4's are something,, if the the new stepping bins out well, hopefully we'll see some 300 fsb and 3.6 speeds on air....wouldnt that be nice...

yeah well they may reach 3.3ghz which isnt much but they dont have 1.1ghz FSB now do they?...didnt think so....

1. I have a vantek copper based heat sink cooler...its not very good(same as standard heatsink fan that comes with retail box)
2. I have Kingston HyperX PC3500 RAM 2x256mb.....3:4 ratio I believe..

b|ind, that seems to be about where I'm at too. At 5:4 mem anything over 275fsb seems to be the mem could be crapping out(like 450 and above gets flakey). So I went 3:2 and I could go all the way to 290, not yet tested fully for stability but it will run benchmarks at that speed. Tried 300 for the hell of it and locks at os loading screen. This is also at 1.7v btw. Nice going on air too ;)

Forgot to add that I have my "old" 2.4B sl6rz in the abit IS7 next to me and it's @ 200fsb for 3.6. I can tell you right now that this IC7 and this 2.4C @ 275fsb flat out blows the IS7 away running at 3.6 800 system bus. I'll post all the sisoft stuff tomorrow in a new thread so people can compare :)

What kind of memory timings are you using for these speeds? I think I saw someone say in another forum that above 200MHz FSB the PAT stuff kicks in and prevents you from adjusting the timings. Is this correct?
