Well after my new water setup I am not at 3.5ghz and stable or so I think so far. I have the p4c800 deluxe motherboard is there any reason why when I set the voltage it is always higher in cpu-z and asus probe? I think I can get it higher but I really need to research some info on this motherboard.

2.8c @ 3.5ghz
FSB: 250mhz
Idle Temps : 29-31c
Voltage: 1.587

Hmm what kind of ram are you running? What speed are you stable at? Have you run any stress testing programs?

That mobo tends to overvolt at idle and then droops to the point of undervolting under load. Actually, 3.5 gig is a pretty good O/C with the 2.8C. Not a lot of them will do much higher.

I'm so glad everyone but me can get there's that high

=P

GJ :)

I would have to guess your memory is holding you back. PC4000/DDR500 would be the better choice if you want to hit 3.5Ghz.

Nah, I've tried my friends pc4000 memory, i've tried mine at 5:4...just read my "My 2.8c M0 just wont hit 245" or w/e thread.

oops made a mistake in my first post. I AM stable at 3.5ghz i think. Ive run 3dmark03 and prime 95 without any problems yet. My load temps dont go up very much while running prime 95 is that normal?

You say you're running water? You should be able to do more than 3.5 then.

I'm running my 2.8C at 3.5 with air cooling at stock voltage. I would think with water cooling you should be able to hit at least 3.7 - 3.8.

I can't. It isn't stable, I am not sure if it is the memory or the cpu yet. My need a droop mod maybe. I am not that experienced yet to be able to tell what is holding me back. I have tried upping the Vcore, but the comp won't even boot above 1.6v. So I am not sure exactly what I should be doing next, but it runs damn good the way it is now, but I would love to sqeeze a bit more out if I could.
