2 hard drives to 1

on my vaio notebook i have a fujitsu 40 gb hdd but sony partitioned it into 2 drives. is there a program i can use to turn it back into one drive?

I would use the boot disks that you can make when you install PM 8 to merge the partitions. I've had problems where it locks up when you try to run it in windows. If you use the boot disks the chance of a problem occuring is next to nill.

actually i didnt use partition magic. on my system recovery disc there was a utility for resetting youre partition sizes and i just used that. worked out fine.
