Look... If you're going to spend 2k, just wait for Ivy Bridge-E, it will be the "hardcore" lineup, what you have here "mainstream CPU

I guess all the other stuff is ok for the most part but nothing special.

It seems like just normal parts for a quick build on newegg

would i run this system? yes i would, it will be good for sure.

so everything looks good
and yeah you got me a quick build on newegg

so the mobo looks good?
or scrap the ssd and go for better mobo?

i don't need a headset but your build looks pretty decent too ill probably combine some of your ideas with mine
and do some more combos to get discounts
thanks

the 680 i chose was like the most expensive one lol
gonna change that

Part of the reason is that you got a double vRAM version which is much more expensive. The GTX680 only has 2GB by default.

Nice build and good choices. I would go with 1600mhz ram, a WD Black drive, and a Blu-ray drive.

As far as Ib-E, it would be a waste for you to wait. You can always wait for the next bigger and better thing, but if you do, you'll never have a computer. A 3770k is MORE than enough for 90% of users. Especially since you indicated its for gaming. That is an insane processor, and there is not a lot of reasons to go for IB-E or SB-E. Trust me, I have one.

k thanks i thought the ram was 1600 but just checked and it isn't thanks for pointing that out

i also forgot to put the case in the list but it was in my cart
so the price of the first post isn't effected
it was the Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded USB 3.0
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021
thats fine right? (i like the way it looked lol)

Doesn't have any cable management holes. It was a great case for it's time, but it's a really really old design and doesn't have many of the features that new cases do.

if you dont mind large cases i Strongly recommend the TT Armor Revo,
best case ive had in years.

I really like the Corsair cases, 500 series and above.

Something like this. Corsair Obsidian Series 550D

My reasoning is this. The Hard drive bays are configurable, so you can remove the ones you don't need and move the ones you do to improve air flow and aesthetics.
Form this.

I know this is a 600T, but the 500 series has the same features.

Cases are really personal. I would suggest going to a computer store and looking at them. You don't have to buy it there, but it does let you compare them side by side.

As said above, you want one with good cable management and good airflow. USB 3.0 on the front is nice as well.
