I have a 2000+ XP proccessor running on a A7N8X and a geforce mx 440 it get 60 frames at 1240x1024 on quake 3 arena im upgrading to a 2800+ plus will this improve the graphics and by how much. and ho come somtimes when i try to connect to the intenet it sais Server is down or somthing like that then i try a minuter later and it works.

Upgrare your vid card, it'll be cheaper than the processor upgrade and make your Q3 fps miles better. A cpu upgrade for you is a waste of money with a POS graphics card like that........

I agree upgrading the video card would do more, although it will help some Ti4200 x8 are pretty cheap these days
