Take a look at Noctua for fans. They cost more. I use their fans and run them 100% and I can't hear them.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the Noctua do not have the airflow (less than the fans I have now), nor are they PWM. Also, the 140mm fan is only a 120mm mount.

Yep, 500mA max. I've got a number of schematics of PWM-to-3-pins gathered. Been thinking if I really need higher amps, I'll just build it and supply the power from a molex. Why no one has done this on a mass scale is a wonder.
