I took a hit yesterday when I made some changes to my main PC. Finicky as heck using it's vertical mount riser ext (No option to mount in Mobo unless modded) Put the GPU in another PC. So it should get back to normal. Using the CPU for graphics in main PC. Also I see we have a lag on the 3am update.

6:30am here, about to go out and shovel snow.:coffee::censored:

I had a 2 16525 chugging away on 2 computers late thurs night and I woke up at 6:30am to see my main rig had been sitting paused for 6 hours, I have folding control on my phone so I might have hit something I shouldn't have but for the last 50% of that wu it would only fold at half the rate and I noticed a ton of nvidia container restarts in the event log. Re installed the 566.45 driver and same thing so I went back to 566.36 and everything was back to normal, been on that driver for awhile with 0 problems until yesterday.

Been messing with a evga 2080 super that's being weird just like the one I had years ago, it would game with the power slider maxed out but it didn't like even the smallest memory overclock then I tried folding on it and immediately crashed, even going down to 100% power on afterburner it would regularly crash so I ran heaven benchmark to see the peak voltage and frequency then set a curve with that voltage -25mhz and it's been solid so far. I remember vaguely of having to mess around with my other 2080 when I used it for folding and that's when the 2080s were new.

Edited for coincidence

Just started another 16525 :sigh: here we go

I have 2 RTX2080 Super Black GPU's and no problems here. No other settings other than stock settings, no OC or anything :)

edit: after over 1100 WU's on my 2080's only 1 WU failed on each. This using Windows 10 Pro

I'm wondering if I need a TIM and pad refresh, 68c on the gpu but hotspot is 103c. I don't remember what the other card hits for temps because I put it in the step kids computer and gave it the 1905mhz @ 1.000v that I had it folding at awhile ago. I don't understand why this card won't behave at stock settings.

recent failure like after you made that post and same wu fail on both cards or just 2 random failures?

I fires up my old 1060 mobile. Watch out.

But also we have a new recruit for the race. Look out for FlyingCentaurus93.
awesome, I had just enough room underneath my 2080 for a 1060 6bg lol dragged that voltage slider all the way over and give the gpu +125 on the core, won't take anymore than that. It's not very impressive but better than I thought it would be, some WU's it will do just over 1mill ppd, but every bit helps right? I'll throw in a screenshot for laughs.

I fired up my main rigs gpu last night... 3090 still doing okay PPD. I also have a 3080 in another machine I can get up as well. Cards not in boxes are a 3060ti and a 6700xt. Not sure what I am going to do with those.

you could uh sell the 3060 to a fellow folder lol I have 1 more round of parts coming for a cheap build, until something else comes along it'll have a 2070 super in it.

1 more up and running, re pasted and pushed to the limit, will leave it run over night and put it in a case tomorrow.

Realtime monitoring stat added (every 5 or 10 mins): https://ehwfoldingstats.lazypenguin.com/26 for tomorrow's challenge.
No fancy graphs, just tabulated cumulative total points since the start of the race. Final team standing will be determined using EOC team stat.
Race starts in less than a day per this countdown timer.
Please visit [H]ard|OCP challenge thread and post any comments, questions or discussions. Good luck and have fun!

Noticed the challenge stat tracking site last updated at 6:10am central time, someone finally posted that it was down for now, not sure what that means for the rest of the week.
